Were you a Bursary holder?

St George’s currently supports approximately 10% of our students with financial assistance to enable them to benefit from all that a St George’s education can offer. This includes a number of girls who receive 100% bursaries. Full Upper School day fees are currently £15,288 per year. Being able to offer financial support to a significant proportion of our students is essential to maintaining our charitable status, and plays such an important role in wider school life. We are conscious of the rising costs that all our families are facing and are keen to be able to both maintain and increase our capacity to offer this essential support.

Would you be prepared to share your story of the way in which having a Bursary at St George’s changed your life? We would be keen to hear from anyone who would be happy to let us know what having a bursary meant to them. Your personal testimonials will make a great difference to our plans to grow our Bursary fund. We appreciate that you might prefer to remain anonymous. If you have a story to share please contact Mairi MacNaughton at mam@stge.org.uk
