Were you at our Burns Day Family Ceilidh? On Saturday 25 January, the Upper School Hall came alive with over 180 family and friends joining in the traditional Scottish dancing. The wonderful Callanish ceilidh band had everyone on their feet, while Erskine Stewart Melville's School pupil Euan filled the hall with stirring pipe music.

Do you remember ceilidhs from your own days at St George's? We'd love to hear about your favourite ceilidh memories and dances - perhaps it was mastering the Strip the Willow or perfecting your Gay Gordons? Both were in full swing at this year's event, with families braving the aftermath of Friday's storms to fill the dance floor.

The PTF Social Committee did a fantastic job organising the afternoon, with Callanish providing excellent music and calling, and light refreshments keeping our dancers energised.

We're already looking ahead to next year's ceilidh - would you like to be involved? Whether sharing your memories or joining us on the dance floor, we'd love to hear from you.
