Celebrating 150 Years of the Girls' School Association: Fearless Women Webinar

The Girls' School Association marks 150 years championing girls' education with a webinar series on 'Fearless Women'. Starting with Lady Dorrian, Lord Justice Clerk, Feb 20th.

This year, 2024, marks the 150th anniversary of the Girls' School Association (GSA). For 150 years the GSA has championed girls and their teachers to act as a catalyst for positive societal change. In celebration of this significant anniversary the four independent girls' schools in Scotland - St Margaret's School for Girls, St George's School, Edinburgh, The Mary Erskine School and Kilgraston - are launching a brand-new webinar series for 2024 featuring 'Fearless Women'. These webinars will feature women who have excelled in their field.

Launching the webinar series, senior pupils at St Margaret's School for Girls will speak with The Right Honourable Lady Dorrian. Lady Dorrian is a Scottish advocate and judge who has served as the Lord Justice Clerk since 2016, the first woman to hold this role. During the webinar Lady Dorrian will discuss her career and achievements with current pupils. The webinar will be held over Zoom on Tuesday 20th February at 6pm.
