TEDx Youth St George’s Edinburgh – Voices of the Future

Dear alumnae,

We are delighted to announce that St George’s will be hosting our second TEDx Youth event on Friday 15 March 2024 following our inaugural event last year.

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-style talks and performances are shared with the community. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently. Our TEDx Youth event offers us an opportunity to create a gathering in our community that will unleash new ideas, inspire and inform.

St George’s TEDx Youth event is focussing on ideas shaping and inspiring our tomorrow.

Our theme: Voices of the Future

Date: Friday 15 March 2024

Time: 14:00-17:30

Voices of the Future will include student speakers from St George’s and schools across Edinburgh, along with external speakers, sharing their ideas, hopes and possibilities for the future, The speaker line up is being finalised and will be available on https://www.stge.org.uk/tedx-stgeorges-edinburgh and our official TED page TEDxYouth@StGeorgesEdinbugh

One hundred students from St George’s and invited schools will attend the event and we are linking up with a range of organisations for sponsorship. To promote Voices of the Future and the ideas shaping and inspiring our tomorrow we would like to offer alumnae or their companies the opportunity to sponsor the event or host a stall in the marketplace.

Being a sponsor provides the opportunity to publicise your company on the printed materials, social media related to the event and be referenced in material relating to the event. Offering marketplace stall will provide the opportunity to engage with the young people attending the event and talk about how your company supports voices of the future.

A range of sponsorship opportunities are available, from contributing refreshments for the attendees to financial contributions towards the advertising and filming costs.
