50th School Reunion: Class of 1974s Golden Celebration

Welcoming our Alumnae from the Class of 1974 back for their 50th school reunion.

The Foundation Office was delighted to welcome our Alumnae from the Class of 1974 back for their 50th school reunion. The day was filled with warm embraces, shared memories, and a celebration of enduring friendships.

Leading the festivities was Linda Ruxton, Head Girl of the class of 1974 and current Vice Chair of our School Council. With characteristic poise, which was well remembered and admired by her classmates, Linda guided the Old Girls through a day of rediscovery and reminiscence.

Our current Head Student, Verity, led one of the tours of the campus showcasing the school's evolution. Alumnae enjoyed seeing the positive changes while fondly recalling their own experiences. Stories flowed freely, from mishaps in the now-Upper School Hall to sewing classes in today's Sixth Form Common Room.

The old detention book sparked curiosity, though it was hard to imagine these accomplished women as anything but model students. There was, however, unanimous agreement on one point: the mutton stew of their school days was not missed!

As the day concluded, we reflected on the extraordinary impact these women have had since leaving our school. Their vitality and enduring connections are a testament to the values our school instils.
