Summer Lunch

The strength of the St George's community shone through at the Summer Lunch on Saturday. Alumnae from the age of 21 - 91 chatted freely and giggled with each other as they shared fond and funny recolections of their time at school. Thanks to the Lower and Upper 6 pupils and Boarders who took time to show our guests around the school and to the catering department for a really delicious meal.

Mrs Wendy Barrie spoke about her experiences of farming, food production and cooking in Scotland and Scandinavia and encouraged all present to appreciate our planet's natural wealth and to treat it with care.

Thanks go to Emma Welsh for her time and hard work as President of the OGA for the past few years and we wish Lizzie Bruce all the very best as she takes on the role.
