Marliese Perks Class of 2011

Studying economics, chemistry, and languages at St George's, Marliese was inspired by lessons celebrating students' unique qualities. This aligned with the school's culture of encouraging students to embrace challenges.

After law studies at the University of Edinburgh, Marliese now works as a Technology Lawyer at the Royal Bank of Scotland. She previously trained at Dickson Minto and earned the 2020 Law Society of Scotland In-house Rising Star Award.

Marliese credits her St George's education for instilling a "say yes" attitude and growth mindset. This allowed her to progress quickly by pushing outside her comfort zone, equipped with confidence from the school's nurturing environment.
