Dr Elizabeth Corsar, Class of 2008
Elizabeth Corsar attended St George's from nursery through to Upper 6, graduating in 2008. Elizabeth studied subjects like English, Classics, and RMPS. Involved in badminton, prefecting, and Duke of Edinburgh, she credits the school's dedicated teachers for instilling confidence and determination.
Elizabeth went on to the University of Edinburgh, earning a PhD in New Testament and Christian Origins. Now a Biblical Studies scholar, she teaches at the Scottish Episcopal Institute and has her first book forthcoming.
Reflecting on her time at St George's, Elizabeth is especially grateful to former RMPS teachers Miss Tomlinson and Mr Verrecchia, whose influence helped shape her remarkable academic career. The skills and values she developed at the school allowed her to seize opportunities globally.
