Helen Harrison, Class of 1987
A proud alumna of St George's, Helen grew up in Edinburgh where her father taught at the Edinburgh Academy for many years. After St George's, she studied Geography at Jesus College, Cambridge, rowing for the University and College teams. Helen then taught English in Portugal before her first teaching job at Clifton College, Bristol. She then joined Fettes College as a Geography teacher in 1996, becoming Deputy Head for 12 years prior to being appointed the first female Head in June 2019.
