Though initially trained as a secretary after St George's, Brigit Forsyth pursued her true calling - acting. The Scottish native attended RADA, winning the Emile Littler Award, before enjoying a prolific career in TV, film and stage.
Best known as Thelma in Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads and Helen in Boon, her credits spanned Doctor Who, Poirot, Calendar Girls and more. She reflected: "St George's instilled my love of performing. My advice? Chase your wildest dreams."
Forsyth passed away in 2023 at 83, leaving an incredible six-decade body of work.
