All of us have times, with colleagues or in the classroom, where we feel our point of view is not being heard and all of us would, no doubt, like to have more impact. Our ability to successfully influence others lies largely in our own perceptions of our assertiveness. When we understand our own style and that of those around us, we can correctly identify great tactics. Often we shy away from assertive when we feel inhibited by the other person and this is usually due to differences in personality types. Recognizing this and developing your tactics can lead to greater success.

The session will led by Jan Roberts who is an experienced Learning & Development Specialist with a track record of over thirty years in a variety of roles and industries. She has held a number of senior roles specialising in Learning and Development and Organisational Change Management. Jan’s passion lies in the belief that, through the gift of self-awareness, all individuals and teams have the ability to achieve great things. Jan believes that when clients truly understand themselves, the potential of their business goes through the roof.
